Rike & Co Aprons and Hauskleids are crafted using 100% cotton American Oxford fabric, sourced from Italy. To ensure the longevity of your Rike & Co attire, we recommend washing them in cold water (30 degrees) and air-drying them. Alternatively, you can opt for dry cleaning, offering added convenience while maintaining their pristine condition.
Blaudruck
It means "Blueprint," which is 100% handmade blue-dyed fabric made by one of the last producers in Austria. The fabric is not printed blue but instead dyed blue. The white patterns are left out, or "reserved," in the dying process. In technical terms, this method is called "Reservedruck" (reserve print). In Austria, Blaudruck was the original fabric used for workwear (Arbeitskleidung). Each piece is handmade using 100% cotton Blaudruck, so each item is unique, like the Blaudruck fabric. Wash separately at 40 degrees (washing machine). Blueprints may run and stain in the first few washes, so we recommend washing them before you wear them.
